Our Spokane Media Space & Guest Bedroom Reveal

our Spokane Bonus room reveal

I am so excited to finally share some more details of our bonus room with you all. This space was designed for multiple purposes. A space for our kids to play with toys, and also a place for guests to stay when they come to visit. We originally had a king-size bed in here for guests, but it was impossible to keep the kids off of it and keep the bed clean and ready for guests. I knew there had to be a better solution, and then I got the idea of a sleeper sofa.

This beauty from Six Penny was and is the perfect solution. It has made this space so much more comfortable, cozy, and most of all more functional. I just love it. We can pull out the bed when needed, but we also have a cozy space for the kids to play board games, watch movies, or just hang out with their friends too.

I took a bit of a risk with the color choice, but I am SO happy that I did. The plum grounds the room while adding a beautiful pop of color. It also makes me worry less with kids. Lighter upholstery with kids is always a bit scary haha.

I finished off the room with a gorgeous side table I thrifted for $40, and it looks so cute in the room. The round coffee table was an Etsy find. It is handmade and fully customizable. It came all the way from Turkey, and I am extremely happy with it.

I shopped my home for the rest of the decor and accessories. I do have a new chandelier for the space as well, but we didn’t have the proper tools to install it while we were home. That will have to be a project for the summer.

I hope you love it as much as I do. It’s such a fun and functional room now! A space we will enjoy for many years to come, and hopefully our guests enjoy it too. As always, many of the items within my home are sourced locally or thrifted, but I will link below what I can!
